Romance
A little bit of romance can go a long way in a relationship. And being romantic doesn't have to cost a lot, either.
Romance in Daily Life
Daily routines of going to work or going to school, and taking care of the kids (if you have any) can really drain you. It can also get boring and mundane, making it easy to fall into a relationship rut. What's the cure? Romance! Want some ideas to create romance that don't cost much (if anything at all)? Look no further!
- Use sidewalk chalk and draw a heart with "I Love You" written on it on the driveway
- Hide love notes to your loved one all over the house
- When he or she is showering, write "I Love You" in the steam on the mirror
- Cook for each other
- When you can't be together for a special day, like an anniversary or birthday, email a picture holding a sign that says, "Happy Anniversary" or "Happy Birthday" or whatever fits the occasion. (Now that takes online romance to a whole new level!)
Bring the romance back into your relationship without spending much at all. Being creative with romance is better than spending a lot of money because it shows that you put a lot of thought into your romantic idea, and that can only serve to make your love grow. Whatever your ideas about love and romance are, keep in mind that being romantic from time to time can keep your relationship alive.
